Ventil PreVenTest
Portable computer operated online safety valve
test unit to test installed spring-loaded, proportional
and full lift safety (relief) valves. The system
allows testing of safety valve without taking
the valve from the installation.
Working method, how does it work?
Here is the basic principle..: A force is applied
to the valve spindle to overcome the spring tension
of the valve. This is achieved by using a hydraulic
power pack linked to an electronic force transducer.
A computer is then used to measure the force applied.
By combining this data with the information about
the valve seat and line pressure of the valve
it is possible to access the set pressure.
Advantages!
Accurate online diagnose.
Only valves that require an overhaul need
to be removed from plant.
Welded in valves can be adjusted without
costly removal from the line.
No need for temperature correction.
No interruption to plant production during
testing.
Reduced time needed to commission plant
after shutdown.
Measurements
From the information recorded and displayed by
the easy operated program, the following information
can be obtained;
The set pressure of the valve.
The re-seat pressure (indication only).
The spring adjustment of the valve.
The valve displacement.
Available options
Ventil PreVenTest, can be optionally completed
with a unique vibration signaling system that
provides an clear lifting point of safety valves
in liquid service and proportion safety valve
with small seats.
ATEX (Explosion proof) version.
