The MP3-SRV-FL relief valve tester can as result of the large built in accumulator produce a such a flow rate that it can demonstrate a significant lift of the relief valve during a set pressure test. The 150 liter accumulator is by a 50 mm / 2" line connected to the test table. The pipe has an acutated ball valve installed that can be closed between two test to save the pressure in the test vessel for use in the next test or to perform low volume (pre) tests.
The vessel volume creates the cushion that allows the disc to reseat slowly back onto the seat. The test bench can apply a clamping force of 25 tons and is suitable to test valves in range DN15-250 mm / 1/2"-10" We have larger accumulators and test stations available. |

The Ventil VC-40-SRV safety (relief) valve test rig allows testing with air and liquid and is designed to comply with API-576 for flow design and API-527 for seat tightness testing. The VC-40-SRV features a hydraulic operated 3-claw clamping system, design for quick clamping of safety valves with flanged and thread connections.
The test unit can apply a clamping force of 40 metric tons and suitable to test valves in range 1/2"-10" The VC25SRV safety valve test rig has a build in accumulator to comply with the safety valve test standards. |
